Katie Harris
Katie Harris is an undergraduate English major at the University of Calgary who knits during class so that she doesn't doodle. Because she produces so many things during class time, she posts the good pieces to Etsy. Katie works a lot with hair accessories and hemp, too. She maintains her own blog and you can find her on Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr via NekozukiYarns. In the spare time left over from crafting, Katie loves to read and play video games. She also really likes cats and previously lived for a year in Japan, hence the name of "Cat Lover" in Japanese.

Sarah Alice Hill
Sarah Alice Hill was born in London, England and moved to Canada in 2002. She is currently completing a Masters in English at the University of Calgary, leaving her with very little time for much else. Kristy Kalin
Kristy Kalin is a graduate from the University of Calgary and a first year law student at the University of Cardiff. When not adventuring in the welsh countryside (see:lost), you can find her settled firmly in her bed with a cup of tea clutched in her hand. Remove this mug at your own peril.

Chelsea Kelba
Chelsea Kelba is soon to be finished a degree in Health Sciences, a program she would not recommend to anyone. In her spare time she volunteers on a crisis line, and dreams of being a social worker. Most of her crafting activities are those that don't translate well to digital media, such as knitting, knit art, wax stamp carving, pumpkin carving, and origami. She is probably one of the last people that does not have a blog.

Stephanie Kincaid
Stephanie Kincaid has grown up in the small down of Revelstoke B.C. She lives in a small, not so sound proof apartment, with her boyfriend and three snakes. Working as a grocery store bakery slave, you can usually find her slinging dough and flexing muscles. Unfortunately for everyone else, she has a sick sense of humour and loves expressing herself artistically. Painting, assorted crafts and film are her usual go to cures for boredom, however, duct tape has been her favourite medium for the past 10 years. Steph's art blog (updated less than regularly, she adds) can be found here, while her work with lomography can be found at this website

David Latos
David Latos graduated this spring from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Music. David likes singing and composing in particular. Having discovered photography well before university, it wasn't until he was there that it really began to grow on him. David got to chronicle a beautiful campus and city, adventures with friends, and had the opportunity to do head shots for some of his performing artist friends. He's also shot plenty of weddings since then. David loves reading, movies, cooking and baking (and eating the cooking and baking), people, hiking, and a whole lot of other things. See more of his photography at his website.

Dominique Ma
Dominique Ma is an idealistic Psychology student at the University of Calgary. She's crazy about her friends and family and loves being spontaneous and making others laugh. She's music obsessed (you can tell she's all about moderation) and can therefore be found discovering new music while "studying" for midterms, scrounging for spare moments with her band (Runaway Nuns) or side-band, singing cheesy pop songs in choir, teaching her little sisters violin or belting out tunes in her car. She avoids wearing socks at all costs and is overly proud of being half-Irish and half-Chinese.

Marina McNeil
Marina McNeil is a graduate of the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts in English and works at Mount Royal University Admissions, The Mount Royal Conservatory, and as a private tutor. A proper dork and TV addict, she has many endeavours that she gets distracted from, and is both a positive sunshine beam cracking wise with her chums, and a crotchety old goose that is too cynical about current global predicaments. More than all of these things, Marina is really a human who sometimes tries too hard to define her humanness through language and analysis of herself and others. To see how this is done you can view some of her thoughts here.

Megan Moghadam
Megan Moghadam is a third-year nursing student at the University of Calgary who can't seem to get a pen out of her hand. Whether creating stories from eavesdropped conversations or building them up from out of her imaginations, her notebooks hold more fragments of plots than medications and illnesses. She loves scarves and worn books, tea, and the indeed Great Britain. Check out Megan's blog here!

Doug Montgomery
Doug Montgomery was born on Prince Edward Island in 1984. Currently pursuing a Masters degree in Literature at the University of Calgary, he previously taught English as a Second Language for three years in Matsuyama, Japan. Incapable of understanding contemporary pop culture and its frivolous memes, he spends what time he can traveling, jogging, and listening to hip musicians like ABBA and Beethoven. His life ambition is to become that crazy hermit who growls nonsense to himself constantly and bites his nails at everyone that passes by. And he's almost there.

Katie Mooney
Katie Mooney is an Interior Design student at Mount Royal University in Calgary, Alberta. When she is not working or drafting, she spends her time swooning over bearded bands, starting (but never quite finishing) craft projects, and collecting vintage matchbooks, shoes, and useless home oddities. She loves her sister, McDonald's, and the colour red. Check out Katie's blog Adieu Aurelia!!!

Jess Nicol
Jess Nicol was born in Calgary, Alberta and has stayed close ever since. She is marching towards an English Masters degree at the University of Calgary, which she will use to gloat about to others with less education. Incapable of understanding "real" life, Jess spends her time immersed in dessert, pop culture and internet memes. She is currently watching Full House in its entirety and has had their theme song stuck in her head for days. Jess describes herself as a loveable old soul--kind of like your grandfather.

Elisabeth Perron
Elisabeth Perron is kinda close to graduating with a degree in chemical engineering, which she plans to never use again. She wears white socks unapologetically, is constantly getting dirty looks for laughing too loudly in quiet places, and always carries an umbrella just in case. You can check out her ditz (and occasional wit) over at Liz on Life

Alastair Pollock
Alastair Pollock is an undergraduate student in the Urban Studies program at the University of Calgary. When not writing papers on how much public transit rules, he plays in Hunger Hush and Freak Motif, and blogs in an artificially concise manner at Snackable Rants. He loves feedback and smiling faces at shows.

Kimberly Richards
Kimberly Richards is a MA student at the University of Calgary where she studies performance in places of war and trauma theory. In her spare time she laughs. She also marvels at karma and worries that she worries too much. Kimberly loves colour, taxidermy, and bumping into friends in big cities. She thinks that out of service elevators are lost opportunities. She's never been locked in an elevator, but she wants to be. Sometimes she jumps.

Tristan Taylor
Tristan Taylor is a renaissance man. Occupied mostly by his studies as an undergraduate at the University of Calgary, he finds time to work as a photographer in Calgary's up and coming fashion scene, but also as a self proclaimed Lomographer expert, all under the moniker of Perfectly Adequate. In his spare time he plays music and writes self depreciative poetry. He is the founder of Calgary Lomography, which is a growing community of like-minded film photography enthusiasts. You can find his work on Facebook and his music is available here.

Suzanne Tetrault
Suzanne Tetrault recently graduated university with a Bachelor of Applied Interior Design and is now working as an interior designer in Calgary, AB. The many rooms of her heart are occupied by photography, food (although she's a celiac), soccer, summer, traveling, and her friends. Her incredible blog, Born Electric, was just nominated for the 2011 Canadian Weblog Awards and we at Art for Art have our fingers crossed (winners are announced January 1, 2012). Suzanne's photography is equally impressive and can be found at Suzanne Elizabeth, Fine Art Photography.

Kaitlin Vanderveen
Kaitlin Vanderveen was born in Calgary and is currently taking a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at Ambrose University College. She enjoys leaving projects until the last minute and tends to work best between the hours of 11pm and 2am, much to her chagrin. Her procrastination methods include random internet wanderings and nonsensical conversations about such topics as whether feet make good pillows or how to properly cook bacon. Check out Kaitlin's other work via her blog, Potassium and Calcium Oxide
